Miurel Cordoba is a board-certified Physician Associate who brings a lifetime of curiosity about the human condition. Her approach blends clinical insight with deep listening, helping individuals reclaim clarity, alignment, and momentum in their lives.

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from California Baptist University. Effective treatment goes beyond medication. While I do provide medication management, I also focus on the whole person, considering physical health, lifestyle, stress, and emotional well-being. I aim to work with you collaboratively to create a treatment plan that fits your unique needs and helps you move toward balance, clarity, and stability. Violetta Zheleznova, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in emergency psychiatry, crisis stabilization, psychopharmacology, and evidence-based mental health care. Originally from Kazakhstan, Violetta brings a multicultural and globally informed perspective to patient care. She is fluent in Kazakh and Russian and also speaks basic Armenian, allowing her to connect with patients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds with empathy and cultural sensitivity.
Violetta’s clinical experience spans emergency medicine, outpatient psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and clinical research. She currently provides psychiatric care across multiple settings, including treatment-resistant mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, neurocognitive disorders, and behavioral symptoms associated with dementia. Her approach integrates compassionate, patient-centered care with evidence-based medication management and supportive psychotherapy.
In addition to her clinical work, Violetta is actively involved in research and clinical innovation. She participates in clinical trial work focused on patient safety, diagnostic evaluations, and emerging psychiatric treatments, including ketamine-assisted therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). She is passionate about advancing mental health care through both clinical excellence and ongoing research initiatives.
Violetta has held leadership roles in high-acuity healthcare environments, including serving as a Charge RN at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center Emergency Care Unit. She has been recognized for excellence in patient care, teamwork, and safety, including receiving Employee of the Quarter honors and membership on the Medication Review Committee.
She earned her MSN as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University and her BSN from Azusa Pacific University. Violetta is committed to creating a supportive, collaborative environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey.
I provide compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages. I approach mental health holistically, integrating clinical care with behavioral health and attention to the social and biological determinants of brain health. Prior to PA school, I served as Program Coordinator for UCSF’s Healthy Steps program, supporting families in an integrated behavioral health setting and co-authoring Early Childhood Integrated Behavioral Health: A Promoter of Equity in Pediatric Care. I completed my PA training at Samuel Merritt University and earned my MPH from the University of Washington. Bilingual in Spanish, I am committed to collaborative and culturally responsive care.
